“...Monica Lee’s agile songcraft last night at the Butchershop. The Artist space located at 26th and Main, hosted a three-act bill called A tractor Grease Masterpiece in an informal setting of fold out chairs, bare walls and off to one side a Kitchen. The intimacy of the room complemented Lee’s performance on viola and keyboards that combined wind-swept melodicism and hip hop elements...songs like Mama Don’t let Your Babies Grow Up to Be MC’s. Another Lee composition, a tear-soaked ballad with the lyrics, “You’re so bad/You’re the best thing I ever had.” is still going through my head five days later.”

note:
The song Elliot Ness is quoting at the end was actually a cover of a great song by Tom Petty titled appropriately, You’re So Bad
